Update: 10-30-10
Around 30hrs into redesign project. Characters are complete, but I decided that its time to have some fun with them. Background is insane, and CG’ing all six is a time consuming process.

The human connection for Order, Energy, Chaos, Time

The z and x axis circle, in the human mind domain:

If you have time (the time to accomplish something) and you have the energy (i.e. you’re not sick and awake) that does not mean you’ll end up doing what you should or want to do.

For some people, like me, drawing is a healthy exercise and is very rewarding. However, some nights when I have the time and energy to do so, I can not even force myself to try. The mind has to be willing. I will call this willingness order and any unwillingness chaos. If your mind is in a state of order, ready to go, willing to focus, then time and energy can be used to a persons advantage. On the other hand, if your mind is in a state of chaos, forget that drawing, forget whatever you planned or hoped to do, you might end up watching TV: Time and energy are wasted.

Of course I’m sure with the proper practice you can overcome any state of chaos and use time and energy to your advantage… This may sounds like meditation, inner peace, Buddhism? I’m sure it is.

And somehow the next chapter is supposed to convey this…

It only bothers me. The need to have more than you have already.

Today I came close to buying something I did not need and I am grateful I didn’t.
The struggle of modern survival is just to easy, and that is why we all crave so much more than we will ever truly need. The basic needs such as food, water, shelter, family all overlooked so often… At least by me.

And then there is the other problem… Why do I not write when I have time to write? Why do I keep letting myself become so preoccupied with anything and everything. That may be pure laziness.

Others would kill for the time and peace that I have, the shelter I inhabit, the life that is mine. So I should be thankful.

Energy II

After about three seconds of review the element Energy image I developed was declared a mistake.

Round two of her design has started, this one will be more feminine and hopefully more in character with what has been written. Her model will stay centered on the original “axis” design, however, she will be far more animated. Three concepts have been developed thus far, none are par. I am hoping to merge or purge them soon but I am not setting a deadline.
